Respect Murohoki

Yes I was pretty harsh on Murohoki in my last post. The reason for that was because 6vs6 games against other european teams…especially the better ones are THE reason we play this game. To make these games as fun as possible I believe it is important to keep some kind of code of honor. While there may not be a written one, there are certainly an understanding among the teams that you do not drop goalies or any other players for that matter during games. Definitely not 6vs6 games.

However we did play Murohoki today again. This time 5vs6 (we didnt have a human goalie) and although we were up 7-1 and after each goal thought their goalie would drop, he stayed. Personally I think it is easier with a human goalie than a CPU one. But  understand that some teams beg to differ, and it would be understandable if their goalie dropped considering we were only 5 to begin with. But he stayed, and for that we credit him. The game ended in a 8-4 win for us which makes our streak against Muro up to 6 now. I don’t know why we won so many games against muro when we obviously struggle at the moment against other top teams. Could it be that some teams just suit you better? Perhaps.
